My name is Haris Miftari, I am currently 20 years old. I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, but my parents originate from Europe, Bosnia and Kosovo.
I am currently a Junior at Alderson Broaddus University, a Division 2 school in West Virginia. Before transferring to Alderson Broaddus, I played my Freshman and Sophomore at Iowa Central Community College under Ben Taylor.
My freshman I played and started all 16 games as a left back, scoring 2 and assisting 1.
My sophomore year I was nominated Captain of the team and was moved to center back. I also started and played every game, scoring 4 goals with 3 assists.
My Junior Year season I was named the captain of the Team at Alderson Broaddus University. My first half of the season I was out with a torn ligament in my ankle, but the second half of my season I started 11 out of 14 games. I scored 1 goal in the conference quarterfinal and it was the game winning goal. We finished off the season as Conference Champions, first time that's been down in 8years! We are part of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
